Where are Nicolle® stools and chairs manufactured?
Nicolle® chairs and stools are manufactured in France’s Ile de France region in the city of Meaux, around 25 miles west of Paris.
How to choose your Nicolle® Chair?
To choose the height of your seat: You need around 12 inches between the seat and the worktop height.

Can I order custom colored?
Yes, for a fixed fee of €80 inc. tax, you can personalize your NICOLLE® chairs and stools with original colors from the RAL color chart.
For orders over 6 units per color, these fees are free of charge!
To put it another way, if you order 6 chairs or 6 stools the same “special” color, you don’t pay the additional fee.

How long is the delivery time?
Generally speaking, we can deliver within a maximum of 10 days.
Can I change my delivery address after I order?
Sure! As long as we haven’t sent your order out, you can still change the delivery address.

You are the owner of a Nicolle® chair or stool
There are marks on the seat/I can see weld marks. Is this normal?
Yes, it’s totally normal.
The traditional craft technique used to assemble NICOLLE® chairs is spot welding.
These spot welds are visible on NICOLLE® products and are one of their distinguishing features.
The backrest on my chair moves. Is this normal?
Yes. The back support on NICOLLE® chairs are made using a special metal that allows a special flexibility to work in harmony with the movement of your back.
How do I care for my Nicolle® chair or stool?
Simply dust it with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Never use abrasive or harsh chemical cleaning products.
Avoid exposing your chair to excessive humidity.
Can I use my Nicolle® chair or stool outdoors?
Chairs and stools from the Metal collection can be used outside, on condition that you don’t leave them outside all the time and not by the seaside.
To protect against rust, we recommend a polyzinc undercoat (price €8 not incl tax per chair).
This undercoat is compatible with all paint finishes (standard and custom colours), but not with varnished finished (Matte Dark Steel or Glossy Varnish Raw) as the undercoat is colored.
Chairs and seats in the Wood & Metal and Loom & Metal collections, as well as leather pads cannot be used outdoors.
I have a Nicolle® stool, can I add a back support to turn it into a chair?
If you have a stool from the Wood & Metal range, you can add a “back support kit” (backrest + bracket + screws) to convert it to a chair as the back support bracket screws onto the wood and the set is pre-drilled to enable assembly.
If you have a Metal or Loom & Metal stool, this is not possible as the brackets require welding to the seat prior to painting.
